MoM/Report of the IQAC Review Meeting held on 19.10.2024

 

An important meeting was convened by Coordinator, IQAC under the chairmanship of Worthy Principal in his office chamber on 19.10.2024 at 10:45 a.m. the agenda of the meeting were as follows.

A-1.                        The progress of Annual Quality Assurance Report for the Academic Year 2022-2023.

A-2.                        The submission of action plan for framing Institutional Strategic Plan and Academic/Activity Calendar for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

A-3.                        Preparation of AQAR for the Academic Year 2023-24.

 

The agenda of the meeting was disclosed by Prof. Basharat Hussain Bhat and the said IQAC member also invited the Coordinator, IQAC to start the Proceedings.

The Coordinator, IQAC while addressing the gathering appealed the IQAC members to furnish criteria wise progress of AQAR 2022-2023 to be submitted within the time range of 21st-23rd October 2024.   

 

A-1. The criteria wise Information received by Coordinator, IQAC is hereby given as under:

  1. The criterion 1 is nearly completed by Dr. Sabzar Ahmad Dar. The only work that is in progress is the framing of Alumni feedback.
  2. The Criterion 2 is almost wrapped up by Prof. Basharat Hussain Bhat.
  3. The Criterion 3 is complete in all respects. Dr. Showkat Hussain Ganie was advised to keep all the records handy on the day one of AQAR submission.
  4. Prof. Rouf Habib Ganie has also completed Criterion 4. He advised the faculty members to utilize the services of N-List and send screenshots to him so that data can be incorporated in the Criterion 4.
  5. Dr. Abid Yousuf has also successfully completed the criterion 5.
  6. The status of criterion 6 is yet to be discussed.
  7.  Dr. Mohd Ashraf will take the assistance from other members and the establishment section about energy audit, mechanism of disposal of chemicals and information regarding student welfare account to complete the pending assignments of criterion 7.

 

A-2. The submission of action plan for framing Institutional Strategic Plan and Academic/Activity Calendar for the Academic Year 2024-2025:

All the members of the committee and the convener of important committees were asked to submit the action plans for the academic year 2024-25 so that the same could be incorporated in the Institutional Strategic Plan and subsequent preparation of Academic/Activity Calendar that would guide the actions of the college in the academic year for smooth conduct of business and to achieve the desired quality goals as envisaged in the broader college mission and vision document.

 

A-3. Preparation of AQAR for the academic year 2023-24:

It was decided that work on preparation of 2023-24 shall begin immediately after the submission of AQAR 2022-23.

 

In addition to the above agenda some of the other important aspects regarding different facilities/student support were also discussed; which include the following.

  1. Creation of permanent facility for IQAC in the Health care center corridor where the AC facility is already installed.
  2. Establishment of Help-Desk for the students of the college.
  3. Complete renovation of male and female student washrooms.
  4. Establishment of Gymnasium for faculty and students.
  5. Establishment of jogging track along the periphery of the college main sports ground.
  6. Framing of College Committees on priority basis.

 

The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Tariq Bashir in which he thanked Principal for his consistent encouragement and support to IQAC, Coordinator, IQAC for organizing the meeting, IQAC members for timely completion of their tasks and Convener, Protocols, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Wani for providing refreshments to the participants.
