The Department of Political Science was established in year 2008. Political Science is one of the major subjects which are taught at under graduate level with an aim to abreast students of historical, Philosophical doctrines of various political thinkers, constitutional safeguards, international affairs, democratic governance, comparative politics, environmental aspects and human rights issues. The aim of the Department is not only to aware students with various happenings at domestic and foreign fronts but also guide students for preparation of competitive examinations.
