Library Rules and Regulations
To ensure a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for all patrons, the college library requires visitors to follow these rules:
- Only registered students, faculty, and staff are permitted to use the library.
- Students must carry a valid college ID for borrowing books.
- Books must be returned within 15 days from the date of issue.
- Personal bags, and non-essential items must be stored in designated areas. Only notebooks, laptops, and study materials are permitted inside the library.
- Silence and discipline should be maintained inside the library. Mobile phones should be set to silent mode; phone calls are not allowed in the library.
- Laptops and smart phones may be used for study purposes only. Headphones must be worn when using devices for audio-visual purposes.
- Periodicals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other reference materials are available for in-library use only and cannot be checked out.
- Patrons must replace or compensate for any lost or damaged books in accordance with library policies.
- Respectful behavior towards library staff and fellow patrons is expected.
- Smoking, eating, sleeping, and loud conversation is strictly prohibited. Only water bottles are allowed; other food and beverages are not permitted.
- The library is not responsible for personal items left unattended. Patrons are encouraged to keep valuables secure.
All the visitors are requested to follow the guidelines while using the library & learning resources.
