Department of Physics was established in 2019 along with other science departments. The department offers B.Sc. with combinations Chemistry, Mathematics as well as with Computer Applications, Mathematics. Among the adjoining college, GDC, Uttersoo is the only college that offers the stream, Physics, Computer Applications and Mathematics. The department has a well established Laboratory with almost all the basic equipments and experiments prescribed in the syllabus. The department has one position of Assistant Professor and one position of Lab. Assistant. Although the roll of students is still less, but in future it is expected increase significantly.
